Need help deciding if this offer is worth moving for. Received an offer from Booz Allen Hamilton for an Associate level Sr. Systems Engineer in Los Angeles for $135k base. I countered $150k and a $15k singing bonus and asked if I could be brought on as a lead associate since I've been a lead/manager for a while in my current company.

I would generally say worse having switched from PwC last year.
Heath insurance across the board is worse than PwC with less benefits. No employer hsa contribution, no eye exam included in optical, no executive health exam benefit etc. for around same cost or more expensive than PwC.
One thing is that if you have a family, EYs deductible is much better.
Also PwC has much better operations. Higher spec laptops, easy to order second screens/accessories, better staffing and feedback/performance review process etc etc
I do like the people I work with at EY better though!
Switched from PwC. Loved working there in general but I am still extremely bitter about 3 years-to-senior. The rest of the firms (including EY) obviously require only two years.
I know, that’s not a benefit in the technical sense. But believe me, being promoted a year earlier is definitely would have been a major benefit.
EY only pays for cell service not the phone. Also it's only $50 a month instead of your full bill. Not sure how that compares to PwC.
Run the remaining to the client! Lol
My bill runs around $200 because of hotspot etc. ain’t footing the $140 myself!
Do people typically use a personal and a work phone or just the one?
EY I only know people that have 1 phone. They don't pay for a full business line so it's there's no way anyone is buying a second phone out of pocket.
We cover eye exams every two years. It’s part of medical not the eye plan so that’s actually better.
This may be included in some plans but the high deductible plan I chose specifically states eye exams are not covered.
At PwC I paid half the current cost for eye insurance that I do now and included exams.
