So I recently graduated in the fall semester from school, and I am now trying to find a entry-level full-time position in my field. I graduated with a BA in Cinema and Television Arts; specifically in Entertainment Media Management. I wasn’t able to do an internship because of work and personal stuff. The same thing happened for me in 2018, Initially I gave Interview for infy got offer from them after that I joined in TCS. If I reject the offer now, will they black mark my profile by not allowing me to join in future. Also, what I can tell them for offer rejection. Thanks.

I recommended a candidate for hire to a manager that reports directly to me. This person is a perfect match, but wanted the manager to obviously recommend. It has to be a fit. The manager just told me my recommendation is not her top pick. I feel frustrated because as much as we talk about the position, I wonder if we are mot aligned on criteria. What do I do? Do I push more for the person I want or will I cause an issue with the hiring manager? How do I get her to see this person’s value?

Will it be a profile shift from technical to managerial position or is just a designation (as per HR) the actual job would be to lead/guide any team?
