Have final round interviews at BCG tomorrow. I'm at S& right now at the SA level. Father had a sudden health issue come up this week and it's got me off my game. I'll ultimately need to support him financially for at least a year while he recovers. Not complaining, but has me considering just dropping out of the interview process. Is that crazy? Is the opportunity with BCG really so far beyond what I have already with S&? Is dropping a better look than interviewing and doing terribly?

Really struggling with a few students in my kindergarten class this year and looking for suggestions. I've been teaching K for 10 of the 16 years I've been a teacher, and have never felt as disrespected by students as I do this year. Several students continually talk, yell, and laugh over me, or make noises when I am talking. They are sent away from the group to reset and make a better choice, but usually continue when they return. Parent contact has been supportive, but hasn't helped.

A parent of one of my students told admin she thinks it's irresponsible that I won't be grading over Christmas break. Dads with older children: while raising your children, did your children prefer their moms over you? I know some will prefer dads over moms, but I assume majority of children out there will prefer their moms over dads… I have one child and it kinda hurts to see my child always preferring the mom over me. I work at a hedge fund now. I spent a number of years in consulting earlier in my career. I’ve made some $ but the job is lonely. Thinking of returning to consulting.

1) Is the PIPE practice only due diligence projects? Or any segmentation of the service line beyond general “DDs”?

GDS folks, a colleague of mine has defaulted on timesheets (more than 3) at senior level and was rated as Progressive. Is that the sole factor for not him not being a rated as differentiator?
