Take the free trip.
Well if you'd rather pay a couple hundred dollars to get some points then go ahead. I'll take the free trip 😎
Or you could let them use their points on a holiday of their own - and maybe give them some of yours for a night or two in a nice hotel....
I know I think that's what I'm going to do..it just kills me a little bit inside to be losing out on the extra miles/segments!
depends... how much the ticket is... and number of stops.. and also how many elite qualifying miles... and also chances of an upgrade.. I try to justify flying AA as much as I can, but sometimes it doesn't make sense.
Seriously? You accumulate miles for free flights in the future and you're being offered one right now. If you're a couple thousand miles short of the next level in December, you can always do a mileage run
OMG, you should pay for your own ticket instead of mooching off your parents
Just be sure to take an extra weekend trip while on the bench next to make up for it
^agreed. It depends..
