Look for a new job
That’s a tough spot. If you like the company, maybe rally the team like set small wins, call out risks early, and see if leadership will step up. But if no one cares, that’s a red flag. I’d try to fix it first, but quietly start job hunting just in case. No sense going down with a sinking ship
Managers really cannot be missing deadlines. I would schedule 1:1 discussions with them and say you’ve noticed this happening a few times, with clear examples, and then clearly state what your expectations are. Ask them what is stopping them from achieving that and offer your support based on what they say.
I would be looking for why things are slipping, in the bigger companies, this could be because politics or org changes are shifting. Resources you are using are stuck in limbo.
I would first start having conversations about what you are noticing. Even the most checked out person can give you an idea on what is going on in how they tell their stories.
New job. You can’t fix the culture.
