Hi all,
I have a offer from Perficient and joining in 2 months time. Question :
1: how is the company in terms of job security and projects? I work with web analytics
2: How is the hike and work life balance.
3: Attrition rate
4: Hike is good but will it be a safer vet like Accenture Operations?
Need some views from people working there.
Thanks in advance.
Do you really work 8 hours a day?

After my second turned 1, I took 8 months off. When I had my third, I took 8 months after she was born. Both times, I fully resigned and was then recruited into new roles. If you can’t stand your current job, and only plan to take a year, get as much paid leave as you can and know that there will be another job on the other side. Besides, given Covid right now, a year off probably won’t be that much of an anomaly.
Thanks I figured this year to the next will be and industry turnaround
I took a year off after my second and it was great. I ended up going back freelance which was a bit easier to get a foot in the door and then got hired by my freelance gig. Most people I talked to then and now are very positive when I tell them. It was a great decision to bond with new baby but also my first born cause I also got to do all the stay at home parent things with her that I was missing - like take her to music classes and do activities (I did keep older one in prek though!)
Thanks! Freelance is my plan going back!
