Wow. McKinsey, which has the biggest public sector presence of the MBB, really hasn't been doing too hot at all in the sector.
Its presence is tiny and it's gotten even smaller. Meanwhile it's bungling whatever opportunities it's getting.

Birthday parties are back. We started getting class-wide invites too. We’ve only been to outdoor ones so far but I’d go to an indoor one at this point. We’ve been pretty cautious but are open to some risk. May the fun return.
I’m conflicted because I want to give my kid a nice celebration that he’s never had before but also knowing Covid is still very much present in our day to day lives. Wanted to get a quick gauge on things before I do anything.
I’d personally be thrilled, my kids haven’t been to a party in forever. I live where we had some of the strictest policies, but birthday parties seem to be back.
Do it. The parents who aren't comfortable won't go or will request to schedule a private get together instead. About half the kids in my 2nd graders class had parties, most of which were indoors. And my preschool nephews both had parties this year and many of the kids just wore masks while they spread their germs with joy.
not irresponsible. it’s inclusive. whole class invites and the way… if parents feel sketched because it’s indoors, they can say no. let them make that choice, not you.
Do it! You’re all exposed to each other anyway since they’re classmates.
