Hi Fishes, I grabbed an offer at Accenture with 12 LPA fixed for Level 9. I'm not getting a retention offer from my current company at 13.5 lpa. How do I go about a counter offer with Accenture HR? Also tell me how to approach this situation smoothly.
If HR doesn't fulfill the counter offer, is it ok to accept 12 lpa fixed for Level 9 and when will I get a hike here and how much would it be approximately?
Accenture Please provide your insights. This is my first switch so I ne more exposure

I would personally take a dog walking position with ACN if it got me out of IBM
If you were laid off and jobless then if I were in your position yes I’d take a job
I’m currently stuck on a long term PMO project so might as well do it for 80k 😂
People tend to not like it because it’s normally not really PMO as much as sticking to printing copies for meetings, taking down notes, ordering lunch. In my current experience it’s not like that for me, I’m more client facing and actually helping analyze resources, budgeting, project planning etc. This might also be because it’s just me my M and SM though.
If you are interested in ACN and making connections, learning and leading project management activities it’s a good spot to start. You are able to move into different roles and grow from there
I’ll take a consulting role with Deloitte lol does this pmo role sound good? I thought pmo work was generally frowned upon
If you don’t... can I?
Not for first year analysts. Atleast none that I’ve met
If you have no job, I guess you should get a job. If a job is given to you, you should take it
OP, I recommend that you think strategically and long-term. That will help you answer your question.
@manger 1 already got laid off lol @ Deloitte doesn’t Deloitte pay well over 80k?
Oh shit, that sucks. Best of luck!
Are you an intern at IBM? Good pay for an undergrad hire, not good for someone with any experience
I have one year of experience with IBM.
^thats kinda how I feel. I would rather stay in actual consulting and I would have to move across country for this role.
Take it! You can use it to build up your resume and gain experience
