Hi everyone, I have 2 years of experience in a service based industry as a Java developer, and I am eager to work hard and switch to a reputed product based organisation, but I am not getting proper time to study and practice data structures and algorithms, as I have so much to learn and understand things which are related to my project. Any suggestions would be appreciated and I'll try to inculcate it. Thanks in advance! Amazon Oracle Samsung Microsoft Cisco Salesforce Arcesium Uber

Advice needed - boyfriend has almost 3.5 years of finance experience at a bank. Interviewed for PwC valuation senior associate and now recruiter says they want to hire him at “experienced associate” because he has no valuation experience. Is this too big of a step backwards in career? Should he push back and see if it gets him anywhere? If he does accept Associate, is it reasonable to ask for written, definitive timeline (1 year?) for promo to Senior upon meeting standards? Help!

SAFe...no one really looks for PMPs anymore. Do a CSM, CSPO, and SAFe
I actually don’t have a recommendation because i’ve only taken an internal BCG-run class, but I would presume you could find a decent one on google. I would index more on better understanding the concepts and how it’s applied (e.g., human-center design frameworks) and figuring out a way to apply that to your current job (so you can put that on your resume) vs. trying to get certified in it. All that to say, first you need to land an interview in a product owner role, then bedazzle them with your understanding of human center design (and how you applied it to your job), then the rest is up to you to impress them with your soft-skills and other qualifications.
SAFe
The CSM and the SA (SAFe Agilist) won’t necessarily help you get into product management. Not without good technical knowledge as well.
In SAFe a Product Manager is a level above the Product Owner, and both roles are very different from the Scrum Master role. A Scrum Master role is a team level role whereas the level one higher in SAFe would be the RTE.
All of this is to say, that while certification can help, experience tends to be very important for these roles. Good luck either way.
