Who is your role model?
My resume got shortlisted for Operations Associate/Engineer-Amazon Managed Services role. I am an experienced AWS engineer with 5YOE.I feel like this role will be degrading in nature for me. Is it worth joining for this position. I would love to join Amazon based on my experience and skill set. But Not to some position which doesn't require AWS experience.

How to become more polished?
Strategy& fish - i’m currently recruiting for org strategy. Ive talked to associates (in the healthcare practice) and theyve mentioned that it doesnt matter whether youre in corp strategy, org strategy, etc and that you’re pretty much pooled by industry when it comes to staffing.
Can someone confirm this? Also, what do you expect the restructuring to look like?

Thanks y’all— withdrew. Felt sketch as hell but wanted to make sure I wasn’t being crazy
A1– Point B was the only firm who asked for this— I had a few friends who instead offered to draw up 1-2 slides on a topic of the firm’s choice. Don’t know anyone who actually shared a client deck.

What an unethical ask
Chief
That's not against the law, but it's super sketchy.
Even if not illegal, it’s profoundly unethical. No way I’d work for a firm that asked that.
Just send the a bunch of black slides
How is this possible?
At KPMG, we are not allowed to send out the engagement decks out to personal emails or upload to unapproved sites.
They are actively monitored.
So in that case, what would anyone do?
What is Point B
It’s the B team is what it is
I seriously doubt they asked for a “deck” specifically. The ask was more likely for a sample deliverable you’ve done in the past (project plan, Gantt chart, charter, communications plan, etc). It can literally be an excel doc with “Abc” written in every cell. The goal is to see how you structure deliverables and your work. Trust me, nobody’s interested in looking at your old PPT decks 😂

It doesn’t matter what kind of ‘document’ it is. It’s IP owned by the firm under which it was produced.
They ask you to present it, not to send it. So it never leaves your possession. And they ask that you change all party names, identifiers and significant details out. You really are just presenting a template of a doc.
Just present something that is yours to present. As in, not work that you stole from the office.
Besides that, they state that they totally understand if you don’t have something to share.. and to just make up something.
They just want a sense of what you deliver and to see how well you present.
I did it. Heavily redacted…
Super heavily redacted is probably OK.
