Anyone hiring for a Marketing Analyst position?
I'm looking to find a job like the Forward Deployed Engineer role Palantir Technologies in the UK.
I have become hooked on finding a job that involves solving the kinds of problems they presented during their interviews. Although I got to the final round my performance anxiety got the better of me (I think I wanted the job a bit too much...). I will reapply after working in a similar company.
Is it "deep tech" / "data science" or "smart enterprise" that they're doing? Any advice welcome.

Are you me?
Same here. I exited consulting after my paternity to industry which is 90% WFH, sometimes I need to go into office.
Bond with my son is 10/10
I want this to continue at least until my son is 5 years. First five years are golden age, then they grow up and drift more towards friends, video games etc. etc. I figured I can always go back to consulting later but won’t get this time again
I have a 7 year old. The best age is now.
By now you mean when they are infant and toddler or when they are 7 year old?
You are lucky, kids until their pre-teens are in an age to enjoy their childhood with you. Stay blessed and don’t try to have your cake and eat it too. Make the right choices.
Yup, same here. I think that’s normal. But also looking for ideas how to get a bit more focused on work.
I’ll gladly replace all the toy batteries in the world at 7am or 8pm but get upset if I have more than a few hrs of work per day 😂
Not industry but moved to full remote boutique to do the same; just had my third.
I’m supposed to be creating a Practice, but let’s just say I’m talking my time.
I’d you’re making a good salary, why rock the boat? I’m on leave now with my second and all I can think is “when is it too early to take my foot off the gas?” Pretty much immediately prior to #2 being born I thought that consulting was a great long term option. Now that I’m getting more time with #1 as a result, I’m seriously questioning whether it’s worth it. No one on their deathbed says “man I wish I spent more time at the office.” I love my kids and want to spend time with them when I’m not in a zombie like state from 14 hour work days, but my job is intellectually stimulating and I enjoy the people I work with. We’ll see how it goes when I’m back…
