Currently not a resident of CA, but will be in September. Accepted an in house job based in CA (will be remote until then). CA bar website says I must be a CA resident to waive into the in house program. I called the office and was told I don’t have to be a CA resident.

Can anyone provide insight on whether I have to be a CA resident to waive into the CA bar as in house counsel? Planning to sit for one of the next 2 administrations of the bar, but would like to have this until then. TIA!

I really need leave for two weeks. My project does not have long leave policy but it has strict target policy. The last best leave I took was for 4 days only. I really need a long leave so I can have a vacation atleast once. it's been 3 years I worked in my current project. Never taken a long leave. Plz suggest me good ideas. Should I have to constanly advocate for myself in order to ensure I'm receiving market comp? About 3 years ago I decided to test the job market and realized I was being paid 20% less than I could get elsewhere. When I told my boss I was quitting they secured me a 30% raise to keep me at the firm. Since then my raises have been pretty meager and looking around it seems like I could get a dramatic raise by leaving. Is this just how things are? How do you ensure you're fairly comped without hopping

I jad an interview on 2nd August, 2022 and on 17th August, 2022. I received an email stating that interviewer is moving up your profile and contact a person email id for further information.
Since that day I haven't heard anything from the HR. I had called HR several times but no response from calls as well as mails too.
