Fam, need an advice. Asking for a close friend. He has 2 offers 1. Jpmc: ctc 21 lakhs(excludes bonuses) 2. Morgan stanley through third party: ctc 27 lakhs (includes everything) Which is better in terms of career growth,job security? Work is sort of similar in both. #Morgan Stanley #JPMorgan Chase
When I joined Cognizant realised that soon its going to lose projects but to my surprise it started losing contracts starting couple of years back and most of them were bagged by Tata Consultancy
Never thought huge organizations like CTS can also collapse to such an extent and no surprise why they offered huge pay to laterals and recent hikes to retain the employees.

Talk to the comp coach; and ask him why are you on the lowest end of the range? If you have exceeds you have reasons to push your case; but one thing for sure; since gt is not doing so well; don’t get your hopes too high
I’d say a new Manager in NY should def clear $100K. Anything less and you are underpaid
Not promoted cause I’m in ICS but make 85k as an EA
U guys need to get the hell out of audit lol... Im making 102 in NY advisory as an s3
How much did u make before and after?
City or upstate?
City, about 10k raise, leaving me at the low 90s but my five years at GT , I always received between 6-8k, so overall it seemed like a anti-climactic jump to managment. But it is what it is and it's good money, just trying to get an idea where everyone else is at, since I always thought managment was near the upper 90s.
I made 96k as an S3; was bumped to 102 post promotions;
GT 1 your NY audit as well, what year.are you on now?
Yea ny audit; it was two years ago;
Not GT, but I’m in Philly as a first year manager making 102k.
NY audit at kpmg- $104k, jumped to a mid size firm right after promotion and got bumped to $110k.
OP I know who you are...aba
Ok guy pwc2 I need to figure out how to tackle the comp situation, so find out some ish from your place to help out.
Pwc3*
First year manager in southeast. 110k comp
Where are you able to see your promotion details? I can’t find it on Performance Manager
GT3, the partners have all the info, some of the people in office during experiance GT got the word on their comps.
If a philly manager is making more then you than that’s clearly a problem. Philly is way cheaper
That is concerning, so it sounds like when I was told that's standard around the firms, it was just blowing smoke up the ace.
