I’m 2 months in and already being drilled about my hours. I’m scared I’ll be fired due to the economy.

I gave notice today. One of the firm owners called to try and convince me to stay. She offered me a 15k raise with a decreased case load and said staying with them would be better given the economy and “chance of being laid off” at a smaller firm. Thoughts on this?

Hey everyone, I have a situation, I work in the cosmetics industry as a formulation chemist and I’m currently getting paid 67k with 3 years of entry level experience. A recruiter just contacted me saying he could sign me up for a position as a chem Specialty Chemicals Industry at 80k so I would have to learn different material and I would probably start as the lowest level of the company.
Now my concern is that with all the hiring freezes/layoffs going on, I might get screwed… what should I do?

We recently did layoffs, I was kept however there have been changes & meeting quota has become difficult & we have a way heavier workload. The perks are amazing but I need to make more money.
