Qualified pharmacist trying to get into industry for ~7 months now. I finally got an interview for an MSL role in London, UK. I was asked to prepare a 45 minute presentation and thoroughly analyse a 50 page clinical paper. I spent almost a week preparing and had my interview yesterday..to be told today that as I don’t have MSL experience they cannot take me further. Fair enough I didn’t get the role, but why ask me to prepare so much when my experience was highlighted clearly on my CV?? Grrrrr!

About to get promoted at PwC from Associate to Senior Associate (mgmt consulting). I interviewed at Deloitte for a Consultant position, but they’re potentially giving me an offer for BA. I’d essentially be holding out on the promo until next promo cycle. Usually, I’d understand hiring at a level below for higher levels but I feel like doing a 3rd year as a junior might not be the best decision. Should I push HR for Consultant level? I haven’t gotten the official offer letter yet, just verbal.

They responded back telling me that they’ll have an update for me the next week. Again I emailed them on Thursday asking if they have anything for me before the long weekend ( Good Friday & Easter).
