Hey! Any Google folks know if it’s possible to negotiate fully remote if a contract role is hybrid? Personally, I don’t want to relocate and go to the office on a contract role given the current economy. Plus, I’m assuming contractors are the first to go in layoffs. I just think it’s a fair trade off if I’d be allowed to work fully remote. I’m also trying to have flexibility to manage my Airbnb business in a different country. Same time zone as the home office if I’d travel weeks at a time.

All under 8. Been on at least 75% travel this whole time and our family is really feeling it. Is it normal to ask for a max 50% travel? I don't want to give ultimatem, but I can't envision another project like this. Should I be ready for leadership to tell me no? Start looking around at other firms?
I imagine that will be really hard in change management. I imagine most of change management is being there and getting people to do things
I would plan multiple approaches:
1. What is within your control to do now? For example, Can you shave a day or half day off travel here and there? Pack more meetings into one day? Use more telecom/vc?
2. Have a conversation with you leadership that you don’t feel this is sustainable for your life.
3. Polish your resume, connect with your network and explore options outside your firm
Accenture has those options DM me
