#stepuptothetable is about helping local restaurants who are struggling during these times. I have seen numerous linkedin posts with videos where people challenge each other to step up to the table & buy meals & gift cards from their community restaurants. A great way for those of us who are more fortunate to support business & keep people employed.

I’d use the time to find another job. If you’re on a PIP that person has exhausted a lot of other options and there’s already a paper trail on you. If you decide you want to beat it then fine but look to transfer to a new manager/org once you’re off of it.
I can only speak from experience but some quotes from my PIP: “error free before it goes to Director”; “understand every relevant detail”; “completely grasp concepts to answer questions.” So broad they could point to anything and say I failed. Again, had been meeting with people regularly asking how I was doing prior to this and never got any indication whatsoever that I had serious issues until they hit me with this. Some of my reviews were better than others but that’s how it is for everyone. I am pretty transparent about this with my peers (my ratings not the PIP).
Why would you not state eligible for rehire? HR commonly will only confirm employment and give dates.
I’ve heard certain organizations disclose more, seems like a pretty big risk to take
How do you get on a PIP?
