Nah. I just hit 30 and I'm pretty happy with how I spent my 20s. Teed up my career nicely, learned about what I do and don't want to be doing my whole life, made enough money to buy a nice house and still had some fun times mixed in that were honestly fueled by all the stress. Life is what you make of it - as long as you have a plan and periodically check to see if your tracking to it and if it's still the right plan then just keep on trucking
Life is all about sacrifices. If you don’t work hard in your 20s you will regret it in your 40s or 50s. Just my point of view.
I’m in this camp. Definitely fight for some level of balance but at the end of the day this opens alot of doors for us in the future and i’m all for it.
I realized I would rather dedicate my 20s so that I can work less and not stress about money after I have kids, but to each their own.
I’m now going back to school at (almost) 29 because I didn’t know what I wanted in my 20s and took it pretty easy. Going to grind my 30s away (hopefully in IB) so that my 40s and beyond are secured.
