The constant grind towards meeting utilization & project revenues not only takes a toll on PTO approval from managers, but also to get trained in skills that we need to support future business needs😏

I wish admin utilized Tier 1 supports with teachers. Smiles, appreciations and acknowledging ones efforts would do a great deal to boost morale and climate. I just don’t understand what that is so hard to do.

Just rolled off my two busy season clients. We filed and everything went well. Should I be worried that I am unassigned (week1) past already and my utilization rates around 65 percent.

Hadn’t noticed this sub before, and most of the threads are old so thought I’d ask a follow up - how has everyone been handling parenting with public accounting? I’ve got a toddler and my wife is an accountant (industry), and we only have a few immediate family in the country- but they have health concerns. Approaching end of first year in consulting. Director is trying to get me as non-billable resource for engagement of up to 1 year. Would this not ruin my bonus/ utilisation rate?

I have started working at MBB as an intern for few months and have been giving zero output for the case teams.

I am not saying I am being lazy but output I was giving does not contribute to the case team at all.
