Had a variety of R&D related internship experience, but wanted to shift towards consulting and strategy based work after college. Ended up receiving an offer from GH in their life sciences practice. Has been an okay experience so far, but based on what I've seen here on FB, I'm getting concerned about my chances of pivoting to a more legitimate firm i.e. MBB, Big 4, etc. in the future. Considering taking a position with a small-cap in the US trying to build their legal department. The title is standard “counsel” although the work would be with the senior leadership team and reporting to the GC in Europe. How reasonable is it to ask for a bump in title - Senior counsel or Head of Legal, US?
