Recently I switched job, and with my new package, I have too much tax implication. So, I am thinking of claiming more HRA. My actual rent is 16k, so is there any way to claim more HRA by showing more rent? Is there any workaround? Unfortunately I do not have any parental property. My parents stay with me in a rental flat for which I pay 16k rent.

Hello, first post here. Outside sales, merchant services/card processing. I’m primarily a welder but I work 4 10-hour shifts typically then I try sales the last three days. I’ve done it long enough to where I’m confident and comfortable going to new businesses, establishing some rapport with business owners. But it seems like a lot of businesses see this as a waste of time, even adding services and cutting costs. I guess either I’m looking for advice or considering not doing this anymore.
