Any Aon pension actuaries who could help my friend understand the hierarchy of titles? Let’s say my friend has 10 years of experience, FSA and EA credentials, was a consistently high performer over his career, what would his expected title be at Aon within the core retirement actuarial business? Thanks in advance.

I am Offered 29.5fixed by PwC for SA (L2). Currently on 25fixed. Should I join ? In terms of WLB.! My current employer on fishbowl shows Deloitte but have left Deloitte a year back. Currently in a firm with good WLB but PWFH is a big win for me that PwC is offering.
Any guidance or fist hand experience sharing is highly appreciated.

I'm even older than my bosses! Moved countries and had to start from 0.
I try to stay relevant. Go to industry/social events, grab a coffee with Jr. people- not just in my team but anyone new. Talk to people, ask questions. Be a mentor and a mentee. I love to share what I know but also I'm not afraid to ask about something that I don't know.
Same here. I’m older than my creative directors.
I feel the same. And I go back and forth between trying to prove I’ve still got it or just accept I’m in a new phase, get out of the bullshit and just take my paycheck somewhere less sexy.
I’ve noticed the same. Seems brand side and certain vendor companies have older employees, but would love to see what everyone else thinks.
Following. I've been thinking the same thing.
Nobody has replied . But yes, I’d love to hear some experiences.
Getting older in my career has been more challenging than I realized it would be, especially knowing my peak as a creative has passed and opportunities won’t flow in like they used to. But I started brand side and have ended up there too (freelancing) and I am happy. Brand side has always skewed older so that also helps.
Perhaps look at different types of shops. I met more older people in digital (believe it or not). Then went to a consultancy and boom gray hair everywhere. I still feel the need to be vibrant and relevant but much less so than chasing trends on the brand / ad agency side. Very refreshing. The key is finding a place that values your life learned expertise.
Yeah I feel the same in many instances…
