what was your previous comp? maybe you can try to leverage that. also, sometimes they won’t budge on base but you could at least get a decent signing bonus.
This is low, counter RSU to around 140
Congratulations OP! Looks like a good offer to me. What’s the bonus like?
EY1 - thank you, bonus is about 5-8%
M1 - thank you, I like the RSU counter
SC1 - 110 base prior to B school
Yeah, then maybe counter with higher RSU’s and a sign on bonus - like M1 suggested
Seems low, what do you mean by Tier 2?? My Apple offer coming out of b school was 135 base for LA and that wasn’t even for a PM role which should be higher. My RSUs were also 105 over 4
Tier 2 city. Like Chicago, Denver, Seattle, Philly etc
Not low at all
Ask your peers at your program or alum what they’re making? Either at Apple or PMs at other firms

You are totally being lowballed. Median base for M7 grads is now 155.
I got offered 145 base by Cisco in San Jose, and that was 5 years ago
You need to model out what your salary will be in 2 years after some equity appreciation and refreshers.
Also....if you take this role....you get to join the tech industry. We like to poach from each other...so when you exit in 3-4 years...your new salary will be so much bigger
You could exit to consulting....but then you will have a super hard time joining tech later on.
Think of this as taking a 2 year loss to make a lot more money later on
Also ask around to see how long it takes to get the promo. Our l3 to L4 promo happens quickly...not sure about apples
