Hello!
I finished my final round(s) for a TAM position at Google (GCP) last week and was told by my recruiter that my feedback was great and that I made a solid impression on the team and am "firmly in the running". I was supposed to hear back this week (according to the recruiter) but he just told me that it's still in the process and that I'll have to wait for another week or so.
Is this common at Google ? I have heard they are notorious for being really slow with their hiring process.
Hi all! I’m looking to connect with folks who either work at Coinbase or have interviewed recently for the Business Operations and Strategy Manager or similar role. I am looking to schedule my first interview which I believe is a consulting style case. So any details you can provide, I am all ears. The next interview will be a presentation. Again if you have any experience/advice on this, I’m ready to listen.
Thanks in advance! Help me escape Deloitte pleaseeee. I want this job sooo much!

it's important to include as many key words to your job positions you're applying to. This way your profile will come up more frequently in our searches.
Agree with the keywords comment, but also don’t be an open book. Leave enough information that leaves a recruiter or hiring manager wondering enough that they want to speak with you. List accomplishments and achievements but make them enticing so we think “I want to speak to this person to learn more” “how did they do that” etc.
Agree with accomplishments. Nowadays, it's more important what difference you made during your time with a company rather than just generic responsibilities.
It's important to have a balance of job keywords and the projects you worked on.
Your LinkedIn profile should be geared towards the job that you want, not only have. Especially if you are looking to grow and learn new skills.
You need to make your profile searchable for the job you are looking for!! Keywords are not all that a recruiter goes off of(lots of those bad recruiters are out of work!). Projects, accomplishments, certificates, recommendations, etc... also write a summary that will add extra punch to your resume. Honestly, as a recruiter for over 20 years, I have made decisions to contact someone based on LI profile!!
Is it a turn off if I occasionally post UX memes on LinkedIn?
Good to know 😅
