S/o to the Veritas Technologies LLC recruiter who reached out to me via LI for an interview for an AE role. We set a date and he had an emergency the day off and asked to reschedule. Day of the reschedule; no-show’d for the Zoom Call and ignored my messages, emails and call after. completely ghosted me 👻

Check out Udemy for some of their courses. One that I found really useful was Cold Calling Mastery. It's really just about finding that sweet spot between total dials and strategic messaging. Once you've got that, you'll be golden.
Nice!
Thanks for the heads up! Will work on that. Need my salary to match the RepVue top performers 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Sounds like you're pretty junior. I can't imagine anyone in Finance, Corporate FPA wouldn't know who Anaplan is.
A couple of things I would do, as others have already mentioned:
1. Up your prospecting. When I was starting out, somedays I'd prepare to make 80-120 calls/day. Get your numbers and prospect ready to go the day before.
2. Know how to use your resources - LI Navigator, Automated Marketing tools, etc.
3. Know how to use your network. Who at your company is killing it? Buddy up to them. Ask for time on their calendar. How do they message/prospect/get in the door? Get them to mentor you.
4. Can you succinctly explain to someone, if you get them on the phone, what Anaplan is and why should they care?
5. Have you widen your prospect net at each of your accounts? Are you calling procurement? Other lines of business who could use your product?
If you've made a valiant attempt at all 5, I would consider if 1) sales is right for you and 2) is Anaplan the right fit for you.
Thanks for the advice though for sure. I think it’s all in the calls. I’ve got a few years experience in sales so I’m not spring chicken but I just wanted to get peer insight before talking to my manager. I’m always down to do more on my end if necessary.
Definitely have to make more calls.
Shit how many are you thinking??
What kind of software are you using to outbound? Also, do you have LinkedIn sales navigator?
I believe I can add new accounts. I use LinkedIn for plenty of marketing and I notice in the metrics for my posts that some accounts do look at my posts that aren’t a part of my book. I will keep this in mind for sure. Thanks for the heads up!
