95% +Utilization, got a 4 of 5. (no raise, no bonus). I was benched last year due to awaiting my clearance (missed utilization) and got a 3 of 5 with a raise and bonus.

Interested in working in PE, but experiences align more with the Ops side (3 YOE in strategic value creation). Is there a significant difference in total comp potential between ops and investments roles? Not sure how to make a case to break into investments with minimal DD experience, so thinking about Ops recruitment (Associate). Would also be grateful to learn about potential strategies non-DD focused consultants have used to ultimately break into investment teams.

I'm an entry level consultant in Dallas at a smaller company. This is my first job in consulting and I've been here about 7 months. My experience has been good in terms of work life balance, autonomy, and culture. My only real issue is my compensation. I was happy with it at first, but with the workload and expectations I'm feeling undervalued. My base is 82k, 5k signing bonus, no annual bonuses or anything. Im wondering if I should start looking elsewhere or if I'm just getting greedy

Should I make the move from ATL to NYC? 24 and I’ve always had a dream of living there in my 20s. I’m analyst with 1 YOE and think I could get support for the transfer itself. My hesitation stems from HCOL… I don’t have any debt and have a substantial cushion in savings (lived at home the past year) but the idea of spending ~2k rent is intimidating. I will spend ~$1.2k in atl for rent. My income in MCOL is $65k. Should I bite the bullet or wait 1-2yrs for a salary increase before going to HCOL?

Looking to get some insights in PwC's bonus policies. I have an offer from PwC in their Salesforce practice and the bonus offered is a range of 27% to 35%. But they have not included that bonus % in the offer letter. For those who have worked at PwC, is this a norm? Have you seen them follow through the Bonus payout? Does the bonus % change significantly from YOY? What are the individual objectives/targets that need to be met at the Sr Manager level to earn the bonus?

Question for people with nannies/home child care in NYC…how much are you paying them? Any benefits being offered to them? Sick days? Paid holidays? Vacation? Poll: IPad Pro 11” vs IPad Pro12.9” Why: Because I have Best Buy points I need to use in 2 days. How many: $500 equivalent. Use: Just traveling, reading, etc. have a MacBook Pro, so definitely nota supplement to a laptop. Commenters: “you can buy something other than iPad”. Yes, I can but I have most electronic gadgets I need and I rent, so no big appliances. But open to suggestions if there’s something very out of the ordinary from Best Buy. Thank you in advance :)

Hello from Sydney! We've been locked down for 5 weeks and due to be locked down for at least another four due to COVID. What did you do to stay sane when you were under stay at home orders? I'm exercising daily, trying to cook something new each week, practicing the piano. Just in a mental slump and feel so sluggish and demotivated, struggling to get excited about anything these days.

Are you living in the moment? People say this all the time, but do you know what that means or how to do it? Living in the moment, or being present, means you are mindful and enjoying what is happening right now and not distracted by the distant past or future worries. Being present is HARD because our mind likes to wander. Here are 4 key themes of people who live (and thrive) in the present moment: 1. Focus on your breath 2. Be curious 3. Find your flow 4. Forgive yourself and others
