If you’re within the range for the location then they will just have question if you NEED to see 160+ or if you would be ok slightly lower.
Dumb question but you’d be surprised these days.
No risk to you but as a recruiter I would want to know you would accept a lateral or only 10k above current.

Sorry re reading I see you said excited at 160. I read it as “exited” 😂 push for the higher end and see where they offer. If they offer below 160 you can always say 160 is my number if we can get there I’ll sign today.
Act like you've been there before and its just a number on a piece paper. TBH $160k is amazing if thats your first time crossing the $150k range. That should put you into solid senior to middle management roles. congrats
You’re not risking anything by being honest and confident, especially if your ask is within the posted range. Recruiters usually respect candidates who know their worth. It makes negotiations clearer and faster for everyone.
