New to Toronto, moved to the west end of town/ just past - in Etobicoke. I celebrate my 40th a few days after NYE/NYD - would love some recommendations on moderately priced but nice ambiance restaurants for myself + husband, and my extended family. Everyone is scattered throughout (Hamilton, Barrie, Lyle, Newmarket, North York). Don’t want anything too fancy but don’t really know where or what is good and not downtown.

I have hit my wall. I cannot do public accounting any longer. I cannot deal with the constant focus on compliance, billable hour and the general unproductive behaviors/mindsets. I remember a day when we were here to help clients. Now I just feel like we are here to bill clients. I want to go help someone build something.

Recently accepted a temp role as an HR admin for a former employer. Hello folks, I’m after some advice please. I recently bought a couple of indoor plants and added to the cart what I think is a very expensive bottle of natural mist to use on the leaves. All organic, glass bottle etc. supposed to use it 2-3 times per week but 2 weeks in I’m down to half a bottle and it was £15 (approx $20). I understand that I need to nurture the plants but it strikes me as a rather expensive mist. Is there anything you’d recommend I can use instead? Thanks.
