Senior consultant (~ 2 years post MBA), is exiting to a Manager position in tech the appropriate level if I am on track for M this year? Or is Senior Manager / Director more appropriate?

Make manager at ACN first, then go for the Director role

Pls fix.

More seriously, it really depends on the firm. You’ll have to benchmark at the target firm to understand where most people post 2 years MBA come in at

M is usually a title thrown around at tech firms. Agree with D1. However if you’re looking for general benchmarks, I’ve mostly seen post MBA 2nd year consultants who are up for manager exiting into SM role and pre-MBA 3rd year consultants exiting into M role in tech

Hi Guys,

I am a ReactJS developer (frontend) with 3.8 years of experience. I currently switched my company but they don't have an opening for ReactJS and kept me on a bench for 3 months and they are telling me now to learn AEM technology and work on the AEM project for now.
They hired me for a package of 16 LPA.
So my questions are is it a good technology to learn? Should I say yes and have a career in it?
Will I get the same package like ReactJS or less? What is future if compared with React?

My old employer asked me if I wanted to come back to the company as a manager. The pay will likely be much better and the position holds more responsibility than I’ve had before, so overall it would be a step up. The issue is I left the company because of an abusive manager who constantly put me down and made me feel like I wasn’t doing anything right. If I come back I’d be working under her again. I’m torn because the opportunity is great but the stress was awful. Continued in comments…
