Seriously though, if top performance isn’t enough for a promotion, what is? I’ve been told I’m “critical to the team,” but when review season hits, it’s crickets. Meanwhile the guys who log off at 3PM sharp are cruising right alongside me. Do you all feel like promotions actually reflect contribution where you work? Or is this slide the reality for most of us?

As I am from the industry and haven't heard about this company before, I would like some comments or thoughts about working for this company? After the final interview, HR reached out and said they would like to extend an offer. HR gave a ball park of 135k - 145k base with about 15k in sign-on equity and 20k annual bonus.

After a couple of days, HR person came back with with 125k base and 20k annual bonus. No sign-on equity anymore. What should I do given that these numbers seem way lower than the initial range provided? HR claimed it’s because of “market conditions”.

Stocks offered, unlimited PTO, and 70% Medical covered. Offer B. Is at a business much larger…90k salary with 10% bonus and generous stock offering.
