Happy to provide my story on the other side. Spent two years at Accenture under Technology mostly working on business analysis for implementations and PMO.

Left for Facebook for a role in strategic analytics in BizOps with 180k TC.

Few tips for looking at exits:

1) Referrals are a huge tool for getting your foot in the door. At Facebook it guarantees that atleast your resume is given more than a glance.

2) A well constructed story/resume can offset any weak points in your experience

How would you approach an interview process where the company sounds exciting but you feel confident the role would not be a growth opportunity for your skill set? I gave my various rounds of interview in Deloitte USI 2 months ago, and since then till last Friday it was showing " interview in progress" on their job portal, HR said earlier that we are interviewing other candidates. I got an offer from Amazon last week and asked Deloitte recruiter to speed up the process, i didn't get any reply on my email but now it's showing " review in progress" on the job portal. What does it mean? Shall I wait for Deloitte offer or take Amazon's offer.

How do you deal with an HR that ghosts you after 3 interviews that went really well? I landed an offer at Deloitte as a sr. consultant, and then negotiated for a managerial role. I was told all interviewers were really happy with me so she would be glad to arrange a reevaluation for the new role(I was interviewed by 2 Sr. Managers & an MD for Sr. Consultant role and will have to take another round with a partner for the managerial position). I tried following up thrice after, no response.

How long does it take to get a job , when you actively apply every day for weeks. Or better still how do I do it right?

Does this mean that they are waiting for others to complete their interview or am I rejected? If not ,how many days they tak appxm to make a decision. Help!! My bestfriend is doing two months abroad and was trying to fly into turkey when they told her she couldn't because her passport expired within three months.

She went to the US Embassay in Athens knowing she had a month left of traveling, and gave her an emergency passport and punched holes in her exsisting one. Now no country will let her in with her emergency passport.

Can her mom get her a passport in the US and ship it to her? Is there anyway around this?

I am an Abinitio developer having 7 YOE working in pune.
Sad part is,my husband shifted to ahmedabad and we decided that I will find something in a'bad/gandhinagar.But I found that there are no companies working on abinitio here.once this pandemic ends,wfh also ends,I have to shift to pune & ultimately resign.

I have 2 offers in hand from company A and conpany B. I have made my decision to join company A. But want to keep the offer of company B as a backup. Incase anything goes wrong with company A.
