I have been interviewed and selected for a role in EY UK. The status of my job application is “congratulations on receiving an offer from EY”.
However I have not received any email yet.
Can someone confirm which team sends the final offer coz the HR is saying that he has processed everything from his side.??EY

Has anyone left PwC while they still had an outstanding Educational Support Program repayment agreement? What is the repayment process like? Am I required to pay back the amount in full the day I leave the firm or is there the ability to do a repayment agreement? I’m looking at new opportunities and would like to have my new firm take on the amount of the tuition agreement ($14,000) but don’t know how much that might limit my options.

The only way to stop this is to shine a light on it. Put their names and agencies here. Or start a site where people can list those names when it happens to them. Then at least their bosses will see what they do to people and their agencies reputation.
I would totally add to the spreadsheet

Sad truth: agencies don’t control their cash flow anymore. It’s like they’re all living month to month. And without cash flow, wave bye bye to staffing “plans.” Hiring is just knee jerk now, which is why they post fake jobs and proactively “interview” candidates…. It’s like the reverse of getting laid off. You’re getting laid on the very moment an opening needs to happen; spontaneously, out of nowhere and with no real plan on how to pay you if and when financial hiccups happen.
Just be glad the ghosting started now, vs 2 months into the “interview cycle”
This is literally my company and I’m heavily triggered
Jobs get cancelled all the time for any number of reasons...a pitch was lost, a client was lost, a project came in smaller than expected, it went to an internal hire, etc etc etc
Unfortunately , it's inevitable and will never stop.
Exactly. I know it’s upsetting, but recruiters don’t control the opening / closing of jobs, they’re often just as surprised as you are.
Congratulations and welcome to advertising. When you officially reach 100 ghosting, that’s when you get to be a creative Director. Nothings changed in this industry. Nothing ever will except to getting worse.
Often an opening is pushed by the account team to TA, who then reaches out to potential candidates, only to have Finance revoke the opening because there isn’t budget to fund the position. Happens all the time - especially with lazy account teams who don’t follow procedure.
