Need some advice here. I am a fullstack developer with 5 yoe in Angular and Python. My aim is to crack FAANG companies.Now I got an offer from HSBC in a credit risk model monitoring role using Python.It is close to a data engineer role.
My question is that will it be a good idea to shift from development role to a model monitoring role if I want to move to FAANG in the future?Or does FAANG not prefer people who are not in core development roles?Amazon Microsoft Google Adobe PwC EY Citi Barclays JPMorgan Chase

Hi, I received offer letter from jpmc and accepted it. Today, HR told me that my offer was not processed since i had attended an interview and got offer from Mphasis for a JPMC client one year ago( which i declined later) . Could you please let me know, will it affect my current offer from JPMorgan Chase

I feel wipro is better than HCL Technologies
Both are Indian service based companies mainly depends on the project you mapped. Choose based on below factors
1. Which one is giving good pay
2. Insurance HCL is better
3. Variable pay quarterly Wipro is better
4. Both are asking for hybrid model work culture.
5. Annual hike almost same, wipro some what better but take people's opinion.
6. Job security- Both are same as long as you're in project.
Wipro is not good
Can you elaborate why?
I worked in HCL before Wipro so I'm eligible to answer this Q.
1. My personal experience with Wipro is much better than HCL considering management things like manager interaction, hike etc..
2. Also want to add i think it's all depends on the project.
Doesn't differ much apart from ID cards. I've worked in both the places, I would prefer HCL - no drama, they do what they say. You can focus on work, other things would follow. Wipro, I've seen a sence of favouritism, even in a 4 member project, your contribution will go on vain, higher mgmt will choose who ever they felt as preferred employee for Award and recognition. If you're somone who put lot of hard-work, you would need to reconsider from this perspective.
However that depends on the team we are working with right
