I have some doubt regarding pf contribution... Say for example.. 12% of my base salary is 600 which gets deducted from my salary.. on the flip side.. the company has to contribute 600 to my pf (which is actually deducted from my salary only like already part of CTC)?. So my question again is that.. the company contributes 600 as well? PwC

Travelled to Valdosta, GA for a mediation...flew into Jacksonville, FL and rented a car to drive over...while at mediation a 17 y.o. Kid STOLE the rental car, went joyriding, and spun it backward into a tree. Trunk was crushed in a neat V shape with my overnight bag inside. GA state trooper helped me pry the backseat down so
I could get my bag out. Drove car which, unbelievably, wasn’t totaled back to Hertz at Jacksonville airport arriving about 40 minutes before my flight. The look on the Hertz guy’s face was PRICELESS! Especially when I told him I had the loss damage waiver...
Was in transit to XNA for 36 hours. Got stuck in ATL. Then a few weeks later, then took 24 hours to get home. Contemplated moving to ATL.
EU: Airline strike. Couldn't get to important client meeting. Car rental was out for reasons. Booked an overnight train ticket in a multi-person cabin. More than one snorer. Slept on my laptop wrapped in coat as a pillow due to fear of theft.
Are we talking actually transit related or something that’s happened while traveling?

Was flying from DC to NY in the afternoon, then NY to STL next morning. Storm came into DC and NE, groundstop. Eventually all DC NY flights cancelled. Two records on two airlines. Ended up getting re routed DCA DFW STL LGA on the first ticket, DCA DFW that night. Went out 30 mins late, then circled DFW for 2 hrs due to storms, diverted to OKC and landed at midnight. No gate until 2a. Slept on terminal floor. Took a 5a back to DFW then DFW STL.
I used to do high-angle structural inspections. I had a site visit scheduled at a place called Natchez Trace in the middle of two months of other inspections all over the country (2-3 days in each city, 26 flights in 45 days). Our travel manager booked me a flight into Jackson, about 90 minutes outside Natchez, MS.
Turns out Natchez Trace is actually outside Nashville, TN. A seven hour drive to get there, and a seven hour drive to get back and catch my next flight out of Jackson.
