Gave interview in TCS, it went pretty well. At the end, the tech interviewer asked my expected ctc. After mentioning as 27lpa, he asked if can be negotiated, told yes.
After that didn't get any feedback, its been around 5days.
Is 27lpa too much fr tcs? 🤔

Can someone suggest if fixed pay is fair or low or high according to current standards. If it's low, how high should I quote to HR Bajaj Finance

For me to make the move it at least has to be 10-20% more.
I turned down a role 6 months ago that only offered me a 5k bump. I got a 20k bump offer last month and in my third week. Identify what you’re worth and stick to it. Trust your gut
Depends on the situation and your reasoning behind entraining the offer in the first place. Making a lateral move when it comes to $ amount is not such a big deal when it’s a better situation than current.
If it will lead you to better hours, better working environment, better manager, and better work, then why not. $ isn’t everything but it is one of the big factors, however, you and only you can weigh out all the pros and cons and figure out if it makes sense for you to do it.
If they want you, they’ll make it happen. 5k bump might be enough for 1-3 yrs experience but not at supervisor level
5K nope🤬
Thank them for their time and their offer, give them the absolute bottom number that you would be happy with, and walk away. Do it as soon as possible, don't wait until Friday, and do not go below that bottom number-even if it's only a hundred bucks lower.
Unless you're highly overpaid now, 5k isn't worth it between supervisory and non-supervisory.
Depends on how much you like / hate where you’re at. Post tax you’re looking at an additional $275 a month. However, you can’t really put a number on happiness...go with the one that best sets your career up for success in the future. #myopinion
Not worth it. In this new role you wont get an increase for at least a year and will be tough to change jobs so quickly. Better to hold out and keep looking if they won’t realistically negotiate
If they can’t budge on $ amount, then negotiate other perks like additional PTO days or Half day Summer Friday’s. Not sure if you have a bonus structure but if you do, can negotiate that percentage up, that way you make more on your bonus so it offsets the under pay.
Can also negotiate severance incase things go south.
Good luck mate!
Already tried asking for $15k more, they held firm. Said id like to think about it, they gave me until Friday. Would it be absurd/bad to try and ask again for ANYTHING more? I’ve never negotiated at this point where a company stated that finance cant do more. Seems like negotiating never seems to happen in media
I wouldn’t move for that low
