Other answers here are not correct. I was at IPG for six years and LOVED the plan. There are no restrictions on how long you have to hold stock - I immediately sold mine as soon as I got it every time.
You make a minimum 10% gain each time you sell if you do it immediately - the stock is distributed quarterly and the cost basis is the lesser of the price at the beginning or end of the quarter. If the stock goes up (as happened to me one quarter) you can do really well.
It's basically free money if you don't mind not having access to it until the end of the quarter. Do it.
I looked at it. Though it's a decent deal the price has been pretty steady over the years with barely any fluctuation so unless you plan on keeping it for a long time it may be worth investing that money elsewhere.
It’s ok. The share cost is pretty steady and you get a little break on the price. But just know that you have to hold the stock for a long, long time before you can sell it. Like a year or two, I forget exactly. I just pulled out my last few dozen shares. Basically, it’s good if you want to put away money that you can’t touch, so consider it long term savings.
