Yes. The goal of your portfolio is to show your thinking and the type of work you want to do. Elevate them to “work” because you put effort into them and you want people to see them as the work you like to do.
Also I just saw someone who reviews a lot of books say yesterday that combined is better than separate.
Whatever presents you in the way you want to be presented.
You can’t win if you’re guessing what we want, but you can’t be wrong if your presenting what you want.

This is true. However, is it better than your ad work? If it is, sure. Also, is it the same type of work as the work you’re doing in your day-to-day? If not, try keeping it separate.
It’s really about ease of navigation for CDs and recruiters. They’re looking for specific things when they go to your site. Make it easy for them to find.
If it’s that viable of a business, why not have its own site linked out from your reel?
If it not the same type of work as your 9-5 I would keep it separate.
You 100% should. I have links to work that aren't super relevant to my ad work, but I think it gives people an idea of who you are as a human—which is a win in my book.
