Should we include our test scores in our business case? Have heard multiple different takes on it. Took the GRE and verbal wasn’t super strong (156) but did decent on quant (168); feel like it would still show I’d get into my target schools (T15)

I am currently working as a Data Science Analyst in Amex and would like to make a switch to Fraud detection/Credit risk modelling in future.(not in a hurry but would like to start preparing for the same)
How should I go about preparing for it? Is MBA the only course?
My current tech stack is Python, Pyspark, Hive, SQL, ML, DL(specifically NLP based). I have already done MS in CS from IIT Kgp.
I am confused mainly cause the tech stack requirement is similar to my role in the company.

Hey everyone - applying in R2 this year to Harvard, Stanford, Booth and Kellogg.

Graduated in 2017 from a top state school, GPA 3.88 and GRE 321 (quant 162, verbal 159) w/ 5.5 writing score. Asian female at a Big 4, worked in healthcare consulting and was fast track promoted in 1 year before switching into strategy/innovation consulting. Trying to pivot to VC and eventually raise my own VC firm targeting underrepresented founders.

Wondering what people think about my situation. I’ve been offered a role with a company. The job description didn’t mention college degree as a requirement. On my CV I have a section listed as “Education” and under it I have “Business Studies” with the university name and the 3 years that I attended the course (2.5 to be exact). I’m looking at doing a weekend/part time MBA as someone on the marketing & IR side in PE, specifically something like the Booth Business Fellows.

How would you go about asking for a potential recommendation from your current team, especially if you’re looking to grow within your current team and have no plans to leave?

There’s been some posts on the best planning tools (e.g. planners, calendars, etc.), but my question is how do ppl make sure they use them? I get them and am excited about the possibility of them helping for about a week then I just stop using it. Even if I find it helpful I just never stay consistent with it. Does this happen to others? Any tricks or suggestions to stay consistent using planners, to do lists, calendars, etc.

I have been at my current firm for about 1.5 years, and in that entire time the partner in my group hasn't been out of the office a single time. Is that normal?
