Hello Guys,
I joined Cognizant recently, the project interview calls which I am getting is not from my base location.
I have the location constraint, should I wait for the right opportunity or raise this concern to ADP team so they can look in to it?
As per ADP policy, one should not have any constraints and take the project as FCFS basis.

Hi Guyz,
Any one from IBM ?
I went through the entire recruitment process and got selected for IBM ISL. Now I am being told by the HR that they are unable to release offer as there is a hiring freeze.
Can any one please tell me if its correct or just an excuse not to give me offer. If its true, when will this freeze be removed?
JPMorgan Chase recently introduced a policy change to increase the notice period to 60 days. I'm a 602 and resigned recently and yet my LWD is showing up as 30 days from now. Anyone recently resigned can confirm if they are facing the same or new policy is in effect. This is causing confusion with the next companies I'm interviewing with.

No you don’t say that. Very normal to do that, and understood by the partner, but you don’t just say “I’m waiting to hear back from McKinsey” like an idiot.
It’s best practice not to accept or decline an offer on the spot over the phone. It’s expected. You don’t need a reason why, you just say thank you and you are excited about the opportunity and will review the offer. Employment is a 2 way street. If time becomes an issue, within reason, ask if you can have an extra couple of days to consider. They know what that means.
Lmfao C1 I came here to say the same thing 🤣
They send you an offer that should have all benefits etc outlined as well. You usually have two weeks to review and sign it
Don’t mention it at all? Just say something like how you’re excited to review the offer and can’t wait to get back to them by x date
The MDP is just going to say congrats and offer to answer any questions or can put you in touch with people from the office if you’d like. They’re not going to ask your decision, so don’t volunteer that you’re interviewing elsewhere (it’s probably assumed)
You can chat with HR after getting your offer letter about all contract details and decision deadline
Agreed with everyone else - let them give you the offer, and when Hr sends it in writing they’ll have a deadline on it. Then ask to chat with HR and say you are in discussions with a few orgs and would like x amount of time
Thanks all, very useful!
