McKinsey & Company Since McKinsey & Company is national staffing model, what advantage do I have by working in NYC/SF/BOS office vs. Denver/Dallas office?

Is April month salary slip generated in FIS Global ??? Mine is not showing, when it will generate?
I doubt they didn't give me quarterly variable , I joined in mid February and even salary came less than previous month.
Did they deduct tax in April month salary of it is then fine because they didn't tax in March month .
Kindly comments if anyone have idea .
Thanks

Equal pay throughout. You should live where you want to live. But keep in mind if you’re living in Dallas and want to do LS work for example, you’ll likely have to travel, and won’t have the same in-office experience as people who work with leadership in their home office
Bummer McK1, didn't really think about the COVID impact changing the culture.
A few reasons,
1) you might love living in one of those cities and the cost is worth it to you for personal reasons (this is probably the biggest).
2) proximity to clients or industry hubs
3) proximity to industry specific networking events
Got it! Thanks for the insight McK2!
*Global staffing model
It’s not national , it’s regional although you may have to fly outside of market
