I have an interview coming up tomorrow (initial screening with recruiter). Hopefully interview after that. Any tips from those who work here on interviewing? Consultant role in org dev.

I have worked in marketing for about 6-7 years. First few years were in social media management. My goal is to work at a big tech company.

I’ve heard mixed results about the ROI of earning an MBA. My near future goal is to move into a Marketing Director (or senior manager) role.

1) How much does Google, Amazon, Microsoft, etc. value MBAs in the hiring process?

2) Anyone currently working at the companies above with only a BBA?

Current situation: Marketing Manager, 90k, NYC.

I resigned 3 months ago at Infosys and joined Accenture. If I want to join back to Infosys now can I apply?

Is there any minimum time to stay for rejoining?

Any tips for someone looking to get into a Strat and Ops Mgr. role? I interviewed and advanced . Recruiter said my skillset directly aligns with this type of role and mentioned there being lots of hiring being done in Atlanta but this was months ago and the recruiter said she’s been shopping my resume around… and let her know if I see anything in the interim in the careers site… no follow up interview scheduled…

What is the typical time for Google to come back with your interview results? It’s been more than a week now..

If I got a manager for employment claims’ position is it hard to pivot to an associate counsel role etc? What do you think the main difference between the two are? Is it a good position for a stepping stone to in house counsel?

I live in NYC and recently started interviewing for positions in VA. On average, the offers are higher than the ones I’ve received in NY. I have 11 years of experience, worked for Google, AOL and a VC firm. Does tech companies in Northern VA provide higher comps on average vs NYC?

I messed up my screenshare in a meeting with 2 colleagues and showed my personal email that had scheduling info for my onsite interviews with another company. I closed it but it was up long enough for them to see it. Now they both pretend like they saw nothing and I felt panic for some reason. Newly minted consultant here looking for financial advice.

So I just moved to consulting after B school, and It's more money than I've made my entire life. After paying for rent and living expenses, I have 6000$ left over every month. My student loan payments are about 1200/month at 7% interest. I still owe another 95K on my loan. I have the option to pay more every month and reduce my overall interest paid.
Currently I put about 3000 towards my loan and 3000 towards my savings. Cont'd...

People that have small children - how do you deal with your child’s stress and separation anxiety when you go to work? My 4-year old goes berserk almost every day at some point relating to me having to work. The worst part is that I’ve been working from home bc of Covid and I’m literally just walking upstairs after giving hugs and kisses and saying see you soon 800 times. My spouse is a stay at home parent, but that doesn’t seem to matter to my son. A piece of me dies everyday because of this.

I have 5.5 years of experience in Core Engineering consulting services in PMO & Portfolio Management.
I recently joined ZS as a Sr. PMO Associate.
I have appeared for Deloitte and KPMG but they are on hold. I have applied for Program Manager position in Amazon and Project Manager position in Microsoft but didn't get any response.

I can really use some direction. My background, I've worked 2 years in strategy and am currently coming off an exhausting year 2 in investment banking. I didn't particularly enjoy either role and am not interested in moving over to the buy-side or some monotonous FP&A role. To those that look at resumes for hiring: if you see unknown companies listed, would you prefer that the candidate has an added description of what the firm does in addition to experiences?
