I’d say it isn’t total Bs, maybe partially. They can five offers whenever, but GMs or MDs sign off on those offers. What’s most likely happened is that the pipeline has dried up and they don’t have a place to staff you and don’t want to bring you on just to put you on the bench.
Good luck. I’d reach back out and force the issue a little bit. If you’ve got another offer, that’ll help, might spur them into action
They’re notorious for taking months to make an offer. My entire interview to offer process was October through January. Most likely a pipeline issue, as some else said.
We’re just pacing ourselves. Candidate demand is high, and we keep a pipeline of offer-ready and start-ready candidates that fold into the mix with the next project. It doesn’t mean sales are slow when you wait months, most of the time it means you’re one of several eligible hires and who are still being matched to projects as they come. My process took 6 months, and 2 people on my team took about 4 weeks each. It really varies. Q1 is generally slow....
I spent a good portion of the summer going to recruitment process only to be told that they wouldn’t be make an offer until till after Q2.
I haven’t pursued and they have reached back out. I don’t know quite what to make of it but I wish you all the best in your endeavors
Waiting for projects.
I use to work there. Sounds about right. Q1 is their slowest time, plus it’s typical to go through a long drawn out interview process.
