Hello,
I had my interview with Infosys for .net full stack developer.
It went well and i am hoping for a positive response.
Want to know how much should I expect Or at what pkg should I negotiate with them.
I am thinking of proposing 13-15 LPA negotiable.
4 YOE and 7 LPA currently

Which one to choose between Optum and Tiger Analytics for Data Scientist position? Where can I expect better data science domain expertise (In my previous companies I found very less understanding of Data Science practices as team)? Heared good things about both of these. Also hearing Tiger is expanding rapidly and getting some crap projects as well in the name of data science. Could someone put light on these things?

Go for it! I’ve been contemplating this as a way to prolong my career.
Thank you! That's my thinking. I want to work as long as I can.
OP, to clarify, you are taking a step down to AD despite your obvious experience and skill—to lower your cost to a hiring company? What happens 3-5 years from now—jump ship to get a designer role elsewhere? Where, of course you’ll have a younger, less experienced CD to deal with, who may know a whole lot less than you. That is sooo messed up.
In my experience, younger hires are ill prepared, may not have gone to a legit art/design school, never experienced regular crits in their course work, and don’t even know how to set up files correctly, or create their work in the appropriate app—yet are sought out for their social media “savvy” and perceived trend “awareness”. It’s not at all youth discrimination, rather lack of proper training or younger people underestimating the barrier to entry into the creative working world.
The seasoned among us, and the industry, are in trouble if this is how things are progressing.
I don’t understand how more knowledgeable creatives are getting squeezed out just because they’re older.
Is anyone else seeing younger creative professional ineptness?
Thank you for responding. To clarify...this is to a company that i applied to. The industry is private equity. (Seems boring but stable).
I agree with what you said. But i think I'm there already. The current CMO that I'm dealing with now is 35. Nice enough guy but thinks he'll save the company with social media. I'll probably have to sit through "how to build your brand on tiktok" by some 22 year old influencer who puts creative director as her title on linked in.
I think the titles mean little now since you can write what you want and no one will ever check.
One thing they will check however is how old you are.
It's the only "ism" that's still allowed.
For context. I've been looking while i have this job for 6 months. Only one interview. I dont think my portfolio sucks.... Maybe.... or maybe someone does the math.
Why not freelance? The workforce is getting younger and more audacious. Take your experience to agencies on a contract basis and increase your rate to make more money and work less. I’d think at your level…whew…🤑🤑🤑
Something to consider.
Thank you. I may go that route but I'm kind of trying to wind things down a bit and want to find some balance. I've been going at it at 100mph for a long time.
If i get bored i can always add some contract jobs to the mix.
