Sell teslas and don’t associate with Elon. That’s the only answer. He is associated with wite nationalist hate
False. He is quite liberal
Brands evolve. It's definitely a tough one since it's not like the car quality has fallen off a cliff... just the founder
And he wasn't actually the founder, either. He became CEO after.
If you primarily bought it for status, you are likely not going to get the satisfaction you wanted anymore from the Blue-haired crazy people.
If you bought it because it fits your needs and has the features you want, then I’d keep it and tell the BHCP to go pound sand.
Trying to remain in lockstep with people who are illogical and ill-informed, whose opinion on morality and fairness changes with the season isn’t worth your time nor attention. FEDO!
No one respected you for your cars. Maybe your personality.
They may dislike you for your cars though...
Rising Star
If it escalates and they damage your car, report them to law enforcement.
You should buy that sticker "I bought this before Elon went crazy"
Change the badges. Easy and hilarious. Pick the badge of some super dingy car brand.
I recommend Trabant.
You should have sold last year. I read the market for used tesla dropped. In January the trade in value dropped $6k. In Europe they will not take them in trade. If i can find the article i will post.
2 Teslas mysteriously caught fire by where I live. Hard to imagine that was random.
LOL That’s why we pay for comprehensive insurance… now I can get another one Whooo Hoooo
I will buy for a below market price
So the Brand is now toxic, because the CEO is making lots of people unemployed. No one could have seen this coming, up until 2023 after that there have been signs of extremist behaviour. On the innovation side Tesla EV are okay but the technology is way out of date. The self driving part is garbage and the GeoHot software works while tesla does not. I'm waiting on the Toyota 750 mile EV on one charge in 2026. Then I'll buy one.
Is this really surprising to you?
@IMB2 So as an astrophysicist you really believe that Mars is viable? As an under educated sales professional I agree with Neil in that the technology level required to effectively terraform Mars also solves much of the reasons we are looking to go to Mars and other more viable planets make more sense.
Musk's push for Mars is part of a tactical strategy to keep his shares overvaluation going.
This is a bit hilarious! Before elections, people would buy Tesla to feel good about saving the environment and to feel "green". Now what?
Question is to whom and for how much?
If you’re giving it away, I’ll take it ha ha ha
In some cities people are protesting at Tesla dealerships, boycotting them and vandalizing privately owned Teslas.
There are probably a number of protesters who drive Fords. Shouldn't people also boycott and protest at Ford dealers too since Henry Ford had Nazi ties and published anti-semitic writings.
Ask yourself - what do most people consider when deciding to purchase a car?
What can it carry- kids, gear, animals?
Purchase price
Cost to maintain
Cost of gas
Reliability
Safety
Convenience features like navigation....
Do people really buy cars to make the CEO rich, endorse the CEO or their political beliefs? Besides our current president, I can't think of anyone who would say they bought a car for those reasons. Most probably can't even name the CEO of the company who manufactured their car unless it's a Tesla.
I bought mine because it's great car and had the features I wanted and overall cost me less than options. People shouldn't assume they know what drives others behaviors and judge them for it.
Haha!
