So I just discovered that Google match 50% of 401k each year. Information of the day.

Did you google that

No I’ve heard it from someone who works at Google lol

It sounds nice but it gets worse than, say a 6% match, as your salary rises. But way better than KPMG when I was there lol. And the rest of the B4 I assume.

About half of employers allow megabackdoor. Includes PwC and KPMG actually. Not sure why that's relevant to my point about the match though.

I recently switched job and joined another B4 firm. As part of the hiring I was promised with a sign on bonus. Now I have received the sign on bonus twice, in back to back paychecks. I know I have to somehow return the second bonus to the firm. Does anyone know how taxes work on this? As both the bonuses were tax deducted prior to deposit, when I return amount do I need to pay back the withheld taxes to the firm as well? Asking as the amount is big and don’t want to go in the IRS route. TIA.

Definitely looking into early-ish retirement, should I just invest the rest in a regular brokerage account until I reach the income limit? Am I even allowed to do a conversion? Hi,
Wondering to get some advice on how hard it would be or get an understanding of the market to get back into private accounting/advisory or financial analyst after stepping away for 2.5 years. I was in public accounting for almost 5 years prior and stepped away as a supervising senior in audit for a mid tier firm. Would love to get a chance to connect/network with some people.
