Was sent skill tests, and completed them (It was my understanding that skill tests where last step in process); and now HR Director from HQ wants an interview. Is this a good sign? I’m really interested in the position and company. Just trying to get a feel so I can manage expectations.

I had given interview for network security architect position in Feb last week. And as per recruiter, I got selected for that role. I have been asked to share the documents on March 1st. I did a few followup for the offer letter update and they asked me 2 wait for 2-3 weeks. And now they are saying position has gone on hold after I did another followup.

I’ve been trying to recruit attorneys to join our team at my firm but it’s been incredibly difficult to do so, even for friends of mine who I know are working at firms which are really terrible. It seemed a lot easier to get people before Covid hit as people changed firms all the time but now it seems much more difficult.
