So many tech people working as contractor in NIQ. Their mentality and behaviour with NIQ employees are service based micromanagement mindset and not willing to share the KT appropriately and also not responding properly.
Previously I have worked in service based org, there also company pushing us to not help their client employees.

Most likely getting fired, tips on how to find a job ASAP? I made a pretty big mistake that required supplemental filings with government offices to fix (missed some items when reviewing/comparing long lists of things across 20-30 years). It’s fixable and the client isn’t really getting hurt by this (worst case signing gets delayed), but my anxiety is telling me to prepare for the worst. Can I ask for extra time at the firm to find a new job (so I wasn’t “fired”)? Or should I go for severance?

I have been a PM at my company for 2 years now, with a years prior experience as associate PM. I got promoted before my certification, but was told if I did not get a PMP or ACP I would get my promotion taken away.
Received the ACP and have not seen a raise. Now we have a girl that is getting a 15k raise and going straight from Project coordinator to PM (with one year experience) and no certification. She will now be 5k less than me. If she gets CaPM she gets a 5k raise. Wong to feel slighted?

Are there any firms out there that actually let you take all your PTO? I hate that we have to make up our PTO to meet utilization targets. Been on a capped 40-hour project for the last two years and it’s had a terrible effect on my utilization.

During a 1:1, my manager just offered me “coaching advice” and called me “aggressive.” He was referring to feedback I gave on a call with a client. 5 folks on my team slacked me to thank me for saying what I said. At what pt in the transaction is the furniture for a home sold/moved? Had a buyer walk the day before closing so a bit paranoid about this time around. With the last buyer, they were going inherit the furniture so this wasn’t an issue, but the new buyer does not want it so trying to have them allow me to sell it (for 2-3 days) after closing day so I’m not shit out of luck.
