So my manager have asked me to resign since there is a lack of clients in my org. It's a US based MNC, a lot many clients have ended their contract with my org coz of the market situation.

He is pressurising me to resign which I haven't done yet I don't know why is he asking me to resign instead of terminating.

I doubt if they have no termination policy or anything else since he not doing it himself.

Can anybody please help me understand why they not firing me and asking me to resign instead?

For those that are home grown (at least 2 levels) into the PPMD level, how has your relationship with juniors that you’ve been close to from the start evolved? I'm a cashier. We just got a new manager, and she's making things really hard for us. Current package is 4.2LPA

I've asked them for 10LPA at the beginning of the whole process. The hiring HR has told they'll try to make as best as they can, but cannot confirm my expectation.
