The new company I’m at now sent me an email from an email address that was HR@companyName.careers saying I was accepted for the position. They gave me paperwork to fill out and sign to accept the position

Yes. Extroverts get massive energy from people, almost in an unlimited way. They're the ones at parties who stay til the end and beyond, with energy to spare. Introverts do also enjoy people, socializing too (a lot of people confuse an uncomfortable lack of social skills with being introverted) but they need to absolutely get away and recharge on the regular. If you're at a toxic job with toxic people, you'd suffer either way, so it's hard to tell. If I were you, I'd analyze my people-energy dynamics outside of the workplace over a good period of time for more accuracy. I will say though, extroverts tend to get energy even from people that are not "their types."
