At least he exercised during his work hours. Grass is always greener on the other side 🤪
i'd take a chill 67 hours a week average of doing something enjoyable over whatever this is
And it's hardly chill. Try being around him after a loss. Lol. I always win with my tax returns
My wife is a teacher and works more hours than me and I make more than 4x her salary. And I work a ton of hours that’s not the issue. Lot of complaining in these bowls but we have a pretty good thing going.
Exactly. At least we are paid well. I don't know how the teaching profession is going to stay afloat when it's not a living wage anymore, but so much work!
He works 70 hours a year, which must include weekends, with no real holiday or vacations?
How exactly does that break down? Like is there just that much planning/office work between practices and games? It’s a number that is a little tough to believe at first pass, especially considering it’s a seasonal sport, admitting I’ve never coached before.
And he also teaches. That is a big part of the problem.
Is he looking for a full time job, is trying to stay part time?
At what level is he a coach working that much? I assume it’s college or NFL? I live in TX and while our HS coaches are paid full-time, they’re not doing 3500 hours.
I just need to switch my name. Lol. I need to. Lol No I'm a manager in industry and make $180k, with my bonus. Remote so we would be moving to one of the lowest cost of living states- where his mom lives. $180k in that state would make us in the top 10%. And he would eventually get a job. After he took a year to rest. We live very frugally and I just did a budget. We would still be saving a lot on my salary alone in this state.
